Who is eligible for in-home therapy?
Patients who would benefit from Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapy in their home environment. We accept referrals from home health agencies, hospices, and case managers — and welcome private patients who prefer to pay out of pocket.
Do you accept insurance?
Motion Matters Therapy partners with home health agencies, hospices, and healthcare organizations whose insurance coverage funds our therapy services. We also accept private-pay patients directly. Contact us to discuss your situation.
How do I get a referral?
Referrals can come from a home health agency, hospice, or case manager — or you may contact us directly. We coordinate with your healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
What does an evaluation involve?
A licensed therapist visits your home, reviews your medical history and goals, assesses function and home safety, and builds an individualized treatment plan. We then coordinate with your physician or referring provider.
How quickly can therapy begin?
We're committed to timely evaluations. Most patients are scheduled within 48 hours of referral and intake.
What areas do you serve?
Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Ventura, Kern, and San Diego counties.
Is my health information protected?
Yes. We follow HIPAA standards to protect your privacy and the security of your health information at every step. Please do not include sensitive medical details in our contact form — a coordinator will reach out to complete intake securely.
Can family members be involved in care?
Absolutely. We take a family-centered approach that includes caregiver education and support, so loved ones feel confident continuing the patient's progress between visits.
